The food at Fillini was delicious and portions were certainly generous. Another nice touch was the delicious olives and home-made unusual breads which were brought before hand. The service was friendly, but not outstanding and the mindless background music began to grate after a while. We might come again on another special offer but were disappointed that the 2 for 1 only covered the main course, making for an expensive evening.

An enjoyable evening at Filinis with a lovely choice of dishes. the waiter was charming, polite and well informed on the menu. The only flaw of the night was the time allowed between courses, the wait was too long and coffees seemed to come fresh from Colombia!

I find lunch at Filini very relaxing. The service is always excellent as is the food and the restaurant itself is very pleasant. No complaints here.

The food was OK! nothing really special for the price we paid it was expected much more! also we were mislead by the waiter and we were not told we could only choose between the 2 for 1 offer on top table and the restaurants offer on 50% wine! service was very poor since the restaurant was quite busy and there were only 3 waiters!!! the ambience is quite nice but in overall I would not recommend it!

Filini Restaurant is not a restaurant to be missed, the food was delicious and well presented with generous portions , both myself and the guest that I took were truly delighted with the food that we had. What struck me most was the excellent service, the service was quite simply secongd to none. Nothing was too much trrouble and the staff were gracious and good natured. I am very fussy about service so I was delighted. We ate a la carte, but the lunch time set menu looked excellent.

I booked at table at Filini for my husband's birthday and especially because of his love for Italian food. I was very impressed, having read the former reviews for Filini i was dubious as to how it can be so great, but we were not at all disappointed. Exceptional service, Knowledgeable waiters who knew exactly how our food was made. Amazing fresh flavours, majority of food made from scratch. Ambience super, not pretentious at all, but you were made to feel a VIP. Will go again for sure! YUMMY!

We arrived at Filini's 30 mins early and had a drink in the bar. We could not fault anything, we laughed with the waiter which added to what was already a superb night. The food was superb - compliments to the chief. The asparagas starter was to die for, and the fillet steak melted in the mouth. We will definitely be going back.

Filini Restaurant - Birmingham: Really good food, but service was pretty poor with our drinks arriving after the starters along with one of the drinks being missing. Orders were misheard too many times and the overall experience wasn't all that impressive. Our coats were placed in a very disorganised wardrobe-type-thing in the restaurant with no ticket being given for them... We expected a far better standard from Filini.
