Lovely dinner at Ffionas with some visiting colleagues. Restaurant was fully booked (on a weeknight!) but service remained strong and Ffiona herself as charming as ever. Some of the best buffalo mozzarella ever - with fresh tomatos as a starter. Really lovely. My colleague noted that it was by far his best meal in London for the whole week (and he had been to some

We loved Ffiona's. Great ambiance and great food in a relaxed atmosphere. An intimate dining experience where nothing was too much trouble. As a vegetarian I was worried there would be a limited choice but Ffiona's went out of their way to offer numerous options and I was delighted with them all. We will return.

Ffiona's serves good home cooking - it's not haute cuisine - but they've been rather clever in offering a large selection of meat, fish etc. but with the same accompaniments for each dish. The presentation was somewhat lacking, i.e., food slapped on plate, but it was tasty enough. The restaurant was full, though, and if you go there not expecting too much you won't be disappointed. If you fancy some good comfort food, this is the place to go! Fine dining it isn't.

Had a lovely dinner on a friday night. Service was excellent and very accommodating. Food was really nice and the sticky toffee pud dessert was the best i've ever had. Will certainly be back!

The meal at Ffiona's was very enjoyable, although a couple of starters (no mussells or King Prawns)and main courses (fish cakes and steak pie)were not on offer. The pate and Chicken Kiev were excellent and the waitress very helpfull. All in all a lovely meal.

We went on a Tuesday night with 12 people. I have been before several times and always thought the food and Fiona were fantastic and last night it didn't fail. Everyone loved the food and all 12 left saying they would definately be going again you can ask for more than that...!

Ffiona's is as cute in real life as the picture suggests - it's just a shame that the food & service don't match. Food was mediocre-edible but not amazing at £14.95 per main & we were surprised to be charged £3.50 per vegetable, which we assumed was included in the main course price. Two courses incl a bottle of rioja & a glass of champagne came to £41 WITH the discount...you could definitely eat better elsewhere for that price. Service is brusque & still no loo seats in the grotty ladies.

the owner is mildly terrifying but justifiably proud of her charming restaurant. lovely, snug atmosphere with uncomplicated dishes executed well. great if you want a place to cuddle and linger over your wine.
