Fat Loaf - excellent food. Good choice on menu. Reasonable price. wine was also very reasonable. Only possible criticism would be that we felt our table had been pushed into a corner and it was a little cramped but would not put me off going again at all.

We went to the Fat Loaf in Altrincham on Tuesday night and took advantage of their two courses for £13.99 deal. The food was very good value although my friend found her seafood risotto was very salty. There was a nice ambiance and the restaurant was pleasantly busy. Our waitress was friendly and attentive.

The food was gorgeous. Only complaint was the music was not really appropriate for dining which made it quite difficult for our table to hear what was being said. We were sat by one of the speakers though and it was turned down on our second request. Apart from this though everything was lovely.

Pleasant atmosphere but gave the impression that refurbishment is still in progress. Good size food portions, well cooked and presented. Friendly service.

The Fat Loaf in Altrincham was quiet when we went on a Tuesday night, the food was excellent, the Creme Brulee being the best we'd ever tasted. However the service was awful - the food arrived quickly but was deposited by a girl with absoloutely no charm whatsoever. Would go again because the food was fantastic

Fat Loaf was a great find for our Altrincham stay thanks to Top Table. Excellent food, good ambience, value for money. Service friendly and prompt. Highly reccomend.

From the first beer in the bar area through to paying the bill, the service at Fat Loaf Altrincham was prompt, pleasant and professional...and this despite having two large and several smaller parties to serve. The food was EXCELLENT, my only reservation being that (in common with most other foodie establishments, 'no meat no fish' veggies only have a choice of one starter and one main course. From outside it sometimes appears to lack atmosphere, but last saturday Fat Loaf was rocking!!

The Fat Loaf in Altrincham is a superb restaurant. The food is excellent and the service outstanding.
