The food as always was lovely at Elephant Royale - the service was better then my previous visit but the entertainment was sombre yet again, the music is enough to put you to sleep!!

The Elephant Royale in Gants Hill Ilford was delicious although a little expensive for the area. I would recommend the chicken spring rolls, thai green curry, coconut rice, plain noodles, yum, yum!! The service was slow, and the entertainment (there was a live singer) was sombre. To attract a younger crowd the restaurant's entertainment will need to liven up! Women are given an orchid at the end of the meal - a lovely touch.

Food is good. The live muscic cab be a bit too much at times.

Have been Elephant Royale before and absolutely loved the food. There's lots of dishes to choose from and each one is delicious. Lots of flavour. Restaurant was half full on a Friday evening, even with a live singer (we were seated next to him and it was a bit loud) but a great restaurant, will definitely be going back!

I must say we had a very wonderful experience. Food was really delicious and value for money. I appreciate the staff members and management. They are very friendly and customer service was high standard. Elephant Royal has wonderful tropical decoration. I recommend this restaurant highly and would like to come back soon.

This is our first booking with toptable and we were not disappointed. The Elephant Royale is the best Thai restaurant I have been to. Food was superb and the service was attentive without being intrusive and staff were very helpful with menu choices. Only minus point were the toilets, which were on the limited side for this size venue. Also a bit noisy if you're looking for a romantic night out, but then as it was fully booked that's hardly surprising. We'll definitely be back.

Elephant Royale is a hidden gem, perfect place for a nice meal for two or even a larger party. Food was excellent, but the service a bit slow, nice music, however, made up for it. Will definitely go there again.

Nice place, been there before. Good food, service and ambience. Music, well we expected Thai but we got pop on a tape which went round and round, quite repetative, shame!

Elephant Royale - went on quiet Sunday night, v attentive staff. Food OK, but not worth 120quid for 3 without alcohol, especially as not in central london. Veggie food better than meaty stuff.

I have been her many times before, however this time the tom yum soup was slightly disappointing, The whole meal felt like it has been rushed, would have been better if there had been greater lengths of time between starters and the main meal.
