Been here a few times now and keep coming back. 2 of us had a nice bottle of wine, 7 large tapas (more than enough for 2) and came to £55.

Elche is a cosy and authentic tapas restaurant in Leytonstone. The staff are friendly and efficient and the food is delicious. We particularly enjoyed the spare ribs and the cod cakes with sweet chill. Dishes are reasonably priced for generous portions and our party of three struggled to polish off nine plates. A full restaurant on Friday evening created a great atmosphere and tables are sufficiently far apart that a full house does not overwhelm. Overall, a faultless service.

The venue was amongst a number of fast food establishments and semi derelict shops.....however, this is a certain jewel in the East End ! What a great find. Fast service, honest food and good value. I would have liked to have seen the flamenco dancers that were billed though.

The food at Elche Restaurante de Tapas is Leytonstone was absolutely delicious. I went there with 3 other people and there was something for everyone. We were there on a Saturday evening and it was really quiet, so no real atmosphere, but that might be because we were there quite early. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, if you like tapas you will love it. We will definitely be going back.

What a great find Elche Restaurante de Tapas is. A wonderful local restaurant full of atmosphere, with fantastic food and excellent value for money. Was relatively busy on Saturday night we when visited with friends from out of town and we will be frequenting again very soon.

Me and my best friend enjoyed a fantastic meal together on Friday the 15th of Feb. Everything from the wine, the food, the service to the ambience was fantastic! They really make you feel relaxed and welcome and have friendly efficient service - something which is very rare in the service industry in London.

I've visited Elche a number of times and have never been disappointed - unlike many of the overrated tapas places in central London. The food is delicious (try the cod cakes for a change, they are better than they sound!) and great value for money. We ate to excess + wine and only came to approx £20 a head.

We went to Elche Restaurant de Tapas for a girls Xmas night out and it was the perfect venue. Catered well for the vegetarians among us. They do a mean jug of Sangria and kept the food and drink flowing all night. Highly recommend it!

We chose Elche Restaurante de Tapas as the venue for our Christmas lunch by asking everyone in the party to vote for their choice. The restaurant was pretty chilly when we arrived but the welcome was warm. There was a choice of Tapas or a traditional meal and our party chose from both. The food was plentiful and tasty, but not gourmet. Service was slick and fast and the restaurant had a nice ambience - shame about the loos.
