A bit pricy

Had a very special meal with my girlfriend at El Faro. My lamb crumbled under my knife whilst my girlfriend's steak was one of the most perfectly cooked I've ever tasted. Great foie terrine starter, really good red wine despite being the 2nd cheapest, and the desert was beautiful too. Will be recommending to friends. Hope to return soon.

El Faro is a lovely little place in a pretty desserted part of the docklands, probably the only decent restaurant currently around here. The main courses look really over-priced so we just went for a variety of tapas, which for lunch was ideal. They tasted fresh and light and were quite good ...

A bit too expensive, service charge included in the bill

Second time I have been to El Faro and the food was fantastic again. Will definitely go again and do recommend it highly!

Had lunch at El Faro. I had grilled pork on spinach, delicious, juicy and tender, my colleague had fillet steak - also very good.

El Faro was surprisingly busy for a Wednesday night, but the staff were helpful and friendly. Tapas menu was limited but of high quality - the foie gras was the only let down. Otherwise a very enjoyable meal.

Always good and a fun evening. I am continually surprised by the quality of the Spanish wine selection at El Faro. I have always been pleased.

This was more 2nd time at the El Faro, and it didn't disappoint. A starter of pork belly confit was sublime, tender and succulent. The main of T-bone steak was again tender and full of falvour, the sides were generous and complimented the mains. We ddin't make it to the deserts as we had gorged ourselves by that point. This was all washed down by a silky Rioja. The service was knowledgeable and helpful, and we will definitely be visiting again.

Lovely view, attentive staff. The food is very tasty but not priced correctly given its Docklands location.

Third or fourth time we have been to El Faro and it was a very good evening. This restaurant seems to be empty early in the evening but it soon fills / livens up. A new menu since the last time we went but still good food all round.

Mothers Day @ El Faro. Food OK. My partner's fillet steak was undercooked (asked for med) so went back. Took ten minutes before returned - too long. No bread with starters, and when requested, it was intimated that this would mean add'l charge, so went without. Sought advice on certain dishes suitability for my 4 yr old girl - was told that "patatas bravas" were not spicy. V bad advice, (I loved them btw) but way too spicy for minor palates. Not a family restaurant on the basis of this visit.
