The previous reviews really helped. Eighteen at the Castle hotel was exactly as described. The food was delicious, the service perfectly attentive without being overbearing. If you're looking for a party venue, this is not it. But if a quiet , quality night, where you're able to talk to partner, is on the menu,it's just right.

A very nice and civilized lunch at Eighteen, excellent food and service although we were the only people in the restaurant due to the Wedding at Windsor Castle on the same day! Worth going back again.

We've dined previously at eighteen and the food was superb this time we ate on a Sunday evening and only a set menu was available although the menu was very good value the quality of the food wasn't up to the same standard this was a real change we would have rather had the choice of the full menu and eaten the standard of the food we'd experienced preiviously.

We were very happy with our meal at Eighteen @ The Mercure Castle Hotel especially as a request of a dish not on the menu was granted with no fuss. Our waiter was excellent as was the food. We look forward to returning.

Fourteen at Mecure Castle Hotel was an excellent find. Small, but brilliantly presented portions enabled us to enjoy a guilt-free sticky toffee pudding. Highly recommend.

Restaurant Eighteen in Windsor is situated next to the castle, centrally in Windsor. The interior is beautifully decorated - a modern twist on a Georgian (I think) interior. The ambience is very pleasant, the waitressing friendly. I had the scallops for starters - very good. The pork main was not quite as exciting, but still good. Highly recommended.

I wasn't sure what to expect with a last minute, big group booking at Eighteen @ The Mercure Castle hotel - especially since we had to pre-order our meals, but the food was excellent and service great. Thank you for having us!
