Contemporary, well presented, very tasty. The cookies and cream mochi is a brilliant desert. Will all hit your wallet though.

Superb upmarket restaurant, lovely evening out. I have been here a couple of times and absolutely rate the food.

Despite this being Eight over Eight's fifth year, it is still one of best restaurents around. Delicious, flavoursome, excellent service. No complaints at all. Not even any constructive criticism.

Eight over Eight was disconcertingly empty at lunchtime on a sunny Saturday, but the staff were charming and efficient and the food beautifully fresh and tasty. We all enjoyed the complimentary glass of champagne in the Top Table offer, and that coupled with 20% off a set lunch menu (miso soup, asaparagus & daikon salad, mixed sushi and a glass of wine) represented fantastic value for money.

I have been to eight over eight twice now and will definately be returning! The food and service is of very high standards-not excluding the great cocktails! The atmosphere is always very friendly and welcoming! Thanks for a great night!

Great deal with top table, have the orchid martini, salt and chili squid, dynamite spider roll and most of all the black cod, delicious!

We went to Eight over Eight for a celebratory dinner and had a wonderful night. Bar staff were very friendly and made great cocktails to start. Dinner was exceptional. Well made and presented dishes. Bar scene after dinner was great - a good way to end a special night!

Eight over eight is a pleasant tavern type resto with good food, albeit small portions, however a pretty arrogant attitude towards its clients. We spent £90 for 2 there, were just finishing starters, when the waiter advised us that we had to vacate the table in 30 minutes because the next set of guests need the table. not a place I ever go back to for sure!

5 of us went to Eight Over Eight for an old school client lunch and it was the perfect venue for it. We ate and drank over several hours and weren't ushered out until finally they needed the table back for evening service. Chilli squid & pork belly were so delicious we ordered them again straight away. Be prepared as it really is very expensive. The style of ordering lots plates to share adds up quickly. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended.
