Reviews of Edwinns - Harefield

I took my boyfriend for a birthday surprise luncheon treat. Having not been before we were both overwhelmed firstly by the fantastic views and then how accommodating the staff were. Not knowing it was my boyfriends birthday before hand, at short notice they made a beautiful presentation for our desert. I will definitely be taking my friends and family back for a treat.

We were lunching at Edwinns Harefield to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary, in all there was 24 people. The service was friendly & accommodating, the food excellent (we all had sunday lunch menu) and great value for money. We certainly will be dining there in the not too distant future.

Set lunch at £9.95 for 2 courses was excellent value. The pumkin soup was delicious but the pea, asparagus & broad bean rissoto was both dry & under-seasoned with a distinct lack or braod beans.

Edwins for lunch - 2 courses for 2 people for £16! This is an incredible deal (I thought it was £16 each which is still good value!). Lovely setting with stunning views, food very good, staff very nice but service a bit slow (we were in no hurry so not a problem). Overall, definately worth a visit any time, but especially at this giveaway price.

Edwinns £16 for two courses is excellent value even without the buy one get one free TT offer. It was busy enough even at 6.30 to mean there was a bit of a buzz so we were able to talk easily. Service good and friendly. Food very good - we had the pork and the chicken breasts, with souffle to start. Very chewy pavolova, but good. A la carte looks a bit pricey though. Large restaurant, but broken up well. Lovely setting and view - will go back in daylight next time!!

it was a shame to have to wait for over an hour to be seated..they were very apologetic but couldn't rush the existing diners..so we didnt receive our starters until 3.15-not a good start. However, the staff were very apologetic and we were very pleased to have fine food and great service thereafter. The beef was moist and tasty and the salmon and pork just as good. The desserts, sticky toffee and chocolate were divine-all in all well worth the wait and great value at £55 for 2 including drinks/cof

Edwins at Harefield - a pleasant place to spend an evening. Modern and homely in one. The food was good and my points only reflect that my steak had to go back for being well done instead of medium rare. The replacement was just perfect. There is a good top table offer for here but we just had the normal menu. Worth coming for the offer if you can be seated before 7pm. Then very good value.

We were slightly disappointed with the quality of food, i.e., a sauce applied to conceal an average cut of meat. Service, however, was good. Preferred the venue in its previous incarnation. Unlikely to revisit.
