We had booked on line for 6.30pm, expecting to have a drink before hand. We stood outside in the rain until 6.30 as the resturant had not opened yet. The choices on the menu were fine, the execution of the dishes was a little disappointing. Desserts were good though and the resturant had charm - the tables and chairs could have been a little more comfortable, but we did sit for 4 hours chatting!! The service was fine...Value for money wasgood

We went for the Edwinns lunch menu which was very good value and excellent food, service was swift and attentive. The place was very quiet so lacked ambience but imagine that when busier it is an enjoyable place.

We had a nice meal at Bramleys, the food was tasty. However we felt a bit rushed and the service was quite cold and the whole place generally lacks character. It was teriffic value for money however.

Bramley My friend found the toilet a bit basic and found it a difficult to deal with the lock on the door. Everything else excellent.

All round it was very good,ambience, food, and service. We benefitted by an offer of 25% reduction on all food which kept the price reasonable. Only disappointment was that the bill was confusing in that it stated 10% service charged optional, but it was already included in the bill. Not noticing this, we left a tip on the table as well. Sharp practice we thought!!!

We both had the set menu at Edwinns last night and the food was lovely -we both had pork roasted in black treacle - very unusual, but really tasty. Sunken chocolate pudding also fab. Set menu was very good value for money. Would definately go again.

Had a good experience at Ewinns Shepperton so tried this one out but it was a total disappointment. Food was just mediocre and service was not very attentive. When the bill came, we were charged for a whole bottle of expensive red wine when we ordered only a glass of house wine!

Edwinns has friendly staff and good, fresh food. What more could you want.

Good value for money as I had a 26% discount voucher. Edwins is pretty good value, have been there often. Staff problems in that many are foreign and do not understand very well. Staff keep changing within the Edwins company - I think I usually go to Edwins on a Sunday when it is busy - when it is not very full it seems "cold".
