Reviews of Eastway @ Andaz

Eastway is a good stop over restaurant next to Liverpool street. Although it feels more like a bar than a trendy restaurant it still has good food and good vibes and a lot of love.

Eastway@Andaz has a remarkable choice of ways to dine, from platters to share, sandwiches and classic starters and main courses. A lively busy place with extremely attentive and friendly staff. Would recommend for informal get together with friends

Over all Eastway @ Andez was a good meal. The special offer menu was good value for the £19, however in the end we went for the main menu. I ate the prawns and followed with the steak. A small portion of meat - but alongside a few bottles of the French house red we had enough to eat. A good stop for a bite to eat with friends after work.

Eastway@Andaz had a real buzz, the staff were very attentive but we did wait a bit too long for our main course. I had tomato soup and spinach and ricotta tortellini, both of which were quite bland. My friend enjoyed her dover sole with spinach. Desert was 'nice'. I'd go again because I liket the ambience ane would like to give some other dishes a try.

Food was very good and great value for money. Unfortunately it's very noisy, so it's difficult to have a conversation.

Eastway was a convenient location for a business breakfast, close to Liverpool Street Station. the food was fine and services was okay - although it was quiet on the morning we dined. Can't comment about lunch or dinner but I would definitely go back.

I was pretty disappointed with Eastway @ Andaz. The waitor serving us was very poor, never taking away the empty glasses from the kir royale for example. And the food didn't live up to expectations. The choice on this special offer was fine, but the flavours of my salmon dish did not really go together, and the portions are a lot smaller than they were at Terminus. Also, I had booked for 7.30 (so not late) but they had run out of one of the desserts already. Won't be going back.

It was a lovely evening, the food was gorgeous and the staff so nice. Eastway in the Great Eastern Hotel at Liverpool street is, of course, in a lovely grand building, but the bistro suffers ONLY from being very loud - might be the accoustics?

Definitely worth a try, food was nice, although main course was quite small, but for the price of the offer worth it.

Great venue for an informal business lunch. Would highly recommend it.
