The restfurant was empty for lunch. The decor that was probably glam 5 years ago looks a bit tired. For starter I had pumpkin soup with wild mushrooms, and though soup was fine, the mushrooms were oily and bitter (I think the oil was quite old) so I didn't finish the soup. For the main course I had salmon, which was cooked well, but was quite fatty. Overall not very exciting experience. Luckily it was a business lunch for me, so food and ambience were not on my priority list.

Delano's is a very trendy restauraunt set in the pretty Bushey Village. On entering, we were impressed, very stylishly decorated and modern. It was a special set menu with choice of main course as it was Valentine's but the food was of excellent quality and very well presented. The service was however a little poor, fumbling waitresses meant we were in there for around 2.5 hours with a wait of 30 mins between the third starter and main. Highly recommended for the food, service needs attention!

Delanos - what a disappointment, we had to wait ¾ hour to be seated and then another ½ hr for our starter to arrive. The padding on the bench seating had collapsed so we ended up perched on the edge of our seats trying to eat our meal. When the main finally arrived, three were served at the same time and the 4th meal arrived 10 minutes later. The 4th meal consisted of a lump of fatty pork which was so tough you could have used it as a rugby ball. Overall - very disappionting

I have been to Delano’s many times now; this was the first time I have ever felt let down. The service was not what I was used too, with long gaps between meals and the drinks arriving at the table were not as quick as they have been in the past. Saying that, the food as always was excellent, perfectly cooked and the drinks when they did arrive were fantastic, great cocktail menu. In all I had a lovely evening and the company I was with, was lovely too, If you haven't tried Delano’s, you should.

Restaurant was very very quite for a Thurs eve. Food ok, don't think I would want to go back there again.
