Reviews of De Amicis Ristorante Italiano

De Amicis Ristorante Italiano provided decent food, excellent atmosphere and very drinkable wine all at reasonable price. With the doors open, the hanging baskets rustling and the cosy size of the dining area the ambience was great. We had a meal for ten, the service was quick, the food varied and the wine free flowing. There was only praise at the end of the meal, it was a great place for a group, and I will definitely be returning.

De Amicis was the perfect place to have a meal after seeing a play at The Gate. Toptable had told them we booked for 7.30 rather than 9.30 so there were lots of apologies that we didn't have a better table, but we were served lovely rustic garlic bread immediately for free, and then I chose the gnocci from the varied menu. Portion size was good & my request for chilli oil bought some amazing really authentic stuff which made my main course fantastic! The tirisamu was homemade & a treat!Brilliant!

This is a lovely restaurant. We have been here as a couple and a small gorup. The food is great, the service lovely - i can't recommend it hightly enough. We've been here to make an evening of it and also for a quick bowl of pasta before a film. Great on all occasions - i can't recommend it highly enough

I went to De Amicis Ristorante Italiano at a busy time on Friday night, but was seated immediately in the booth i had booked. Food and service were very good for the price range, and I would certainly recommend a bottle of the Chianti! Will go again when I am next in the area....

We truly enjoyed every aspect of De Amicis Ristorante Italiano. We reserved ahead and had a booth waiting. Service was great, the food terrific and portions appropriate, particularly for the price. The menu was extensive and included all of the traditional pizzas and pasta dishes we could have hoped for. This is a great option for straightforward Italian food and despite the many places we could go, we intend to visit this restaurant least once more while wrapping up our visit to London

De Amicis Ristorante Italiano - Went there with 3 girlfriends and it was fine for an informal dinner. Quite basic and good value. Food was OK but not great. Service was a little slow. Ladies toilets in poor condition.

De Amicis Ristorante Italiano is a lovely old fashioned italian restaurant. The food is delicious old italian comfort food. We had a really good time, the service is really friendly and I would thoroughly recommend it for value.

De Amicis is definitely worth going to. It's a small place with an adorable old man cooking and greeting the customers. The food was nothing outstanding but good. Very good value for money.

Amicis is intimate but lively. The music is a little loud but staff are very freindly and attentive and the food was very good - basic Italian. Would go back; had a very enjoyable evening.
