We had the pre theatre supper at David Britton at the Cavendish following a matinee performance of Mamma Mia. Our visit was an 8oth birthday treat for my mother in law. We thouroughly enjoyed our meal, we found it excellent value for money, the food was delicious and the service and ambience perfect. It really was a treat for all of us, we would definately go back and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends. Thank you.

The restaurant was empty when we went which was little strange but the food was very good but i thought a little over priced as my lamb was quite fatty. The waiters started putting out the breakfast stuff while we were still eating which i thought was quite rude! but overall lovely food but not sure i would go back as lots more places to try!

We had the pre-theatre dinner at David Britton at The Cavendish and found it really good value in such a busy and expensive part of the West End The dining room is a bit soulless, muted browns and beiges and surprisingly quiet on a Friday evening. 2 courses at £14.95 was excellent value, though veg is extra, and the wines, as expected, start at £20+. Salmon and Prawn fishcake main course passed the soggy/gluey test-- fresh tasting and light. Chops also first class. Excellent coffee!

My boss took someone to David Britton at the Cavendish Hotel for dinner - said the service was very good as was the food. The restaurant was fairly empty but then it was a Tuesday night. Said she would definitely go back there for a quiet meal/discussion.

The David Britton at the Cavendish - the manager was rushing us to order as we were a group of 15. All of us but 4 put our orders in to speed things up on the understanding that we would all still eat together. But we were brought our meals before the last 4 even arrived. I had to have words to the manager and then they were a lot nicer. I wouldn't recommend.

David Britton at the Cavendish had brilliant food and was in a great location for a night out in London. Although I felt the price was too high, I had a very enjoyable evening at the Cavendish.
