Had a very pleasant, long, lunch at Bar Epernay. Staff allowed us to take our time choosing from the menu and to linger over the food (we had a lot to catch up on so were talking more of the time than eating). The menu isn't cheap - but the food was very nice - and we particularly liked the live piano playing. Great atmosphere.

We went to Bar Epernay for a pre-theatre meal and only had just over an hour to eat. The waitress and chef were extremely obliging and we managed our 2 courses in 50 minutes!!! Excellent venue, have been there many times before and will continue to return.

might have been my choice of smoked haddock but it was bad... took us 20 minutes to ask someone to bring the bill

Bar Epany is a very tranquil restaurant with an open fire at the centre and a pianist playing to his hearts contenet. Although we arrived early we were able to get the drinks in and go to our table straight away. Staff were friendly and helped wherever they could ifwe had a problem. Food was beautiful if a bit filling, the dessertcould have been a littlle lighter. however i could have stayed all night just tasting all their fabulous champagne cocktails!! a fantastic night, thank you toptable.

Bar Epernay- visited early on a Saturday evening. Quite quiet. Small problem with partner's starter. Rectified quickly, efficiently and well. Quite enjoyable and looked as though it would liven up later. Table mixed in with drinkers, which would be problem when crowded?

We had heard some great reviews about Bar Epeney but our experience was far from great. The restaurant was very quiet yet the service was irritatingly slow. The food was less than average and all in all a disappointing meal for my groups of speakers!

The food was lovely & quite a good selection to choose from. My only regret is that we booked for a saturday evening, without knowing that it turns more 'bar-like' - it was very loud & lots of people standing up drinking. The table we booked had a ladies coat draped over it and a bottle of beer on the table, as it was very close to the bar and people were standing all around it. Luckily we asked to move & were seated no a quieter table away from the bar. Would go back again but on a week night
