Bali Bali is a little gem. right in the middle of one of London's busiest and most touristy areas it's small, friendly, nicely decorated, clean, and for the location., excellent value for money. The staff couldn;t have been more helpful and service was very quick for a pre-theatre meal. We had the Special Rijstafel (sp?!) and they swapped some dishes for us to avoid seafood, this for 2 plus a bottle of wine was £55 incl service (which they add on, which I didn;t realise and paid more!)

Went to Bali Bali on a Saturday. It is very busy and we were 15mn late but they did keep the table for us. I asked for a nice table for 2 and they gave us a nice table (big enough for 4). Good service, casual and prompt. Good food, but not being Indonesian myself, I would not be able to be more specific on authenticity. The service (10% is included to the bill, however, as our waiter was really nice, we gave him a little bit extra). Will definitely go back.

We had a very enjoyable evening at bali Bali. The food was excellent and the service very friendly ,especially for a central london venue. It was small and intimate and despite it mentioning the 2 hr slot at the bottom of the menu we didnt feel rushed and stayed for ages.

Buzzing and tight fitting and great value (especially for the West End) the food is good (beef and soya sauce) to excellent (Squid in batter) to ok (chicken satay). Order the special selection then relax and get stuck into some beers. Good group venue.

The Bali Bali Restaurant is good for pre-theatre dining. When taking your order, the staff ask if you need to leave by a certain time - since we were dining there pre-theatre, this was very handy for us as the service was very fast.

Food was great... i love the Indonasian, Malyasian Fusion... and the price was reasonable.. but I wouldn't rate the service much. Most of the serviving staff looked bored and wanted to get rid of us soon as possible!

Bali Bali, just off the hustle bustle of Cambridge Circus is a small unpreposing restaurant with a slighty tired decor, smiley, friendly and efficient staff and average food. We had the set meal of 8 dishes for two at £17 per head. Nice range - coconut chicken curry, chilli prawns, chilli fish, stir fried veg, rice - but seafood/ fish heavy and no real stand out dish. Overall, okay food, great service, decor needs a refresh and a bit pricey for protion size.

Bali Bali is one of the many 'by numbers' oriental restaurants throughout London. Do not expect to be blown away by the predominately Chinese / Malay orientated food, but it is certainly solid enough not to let you down either. The enormous King Prawns to start were a stand out on the taster menu.

It's been a few years since I have been to Bali so the name of this establishment attracted me - Bali Bali. And I have to admit I was not disappointed, I had the best rendang and gado-gado this side of Denpasar. To top it off the staff had a good sense of humour and made you feel very welcome. I would have like to have the Indonesian theme carried over into the decor though, now that would have made it really special.

Went to Bali Bali last night - not too busy as we went between the pre-theatre and post-theatre times. Service and food were both good. Rendang particularly so.

Bali Bali - I needed to find somewhere close to the Lyric theatre and found this little place. A really great mixture of Indonesian, Malaysian and Thai food. All very tasty - try the stuffed squid - it's delicious.

The food at Bali Bali was slightly above average, though nothing to really scream about. The staff must have been having a bad day as there wasn't a smile to be seen for the whole evening and after waiting for 10 minutes for bill to arrive it took the shine of the evening a little bit. Glad i went but wouldn't bother going back as there are much better places to spend an evening.

An enjoyable evening at Bali Bali, the staff were helpful and friendly, recommending dishes and offering advice. The food was very tasty, charged at a modest price for central London.

The staff were friendly and welcoming especially when we asked to swap 3 out of 9 of the shared dishes from meat to fish. I loved the food and there was plenty of it so all in all I would say a good place to catch a quick bit before the theatre or a place to go with a group of friends. Only down side I suppose is its size as the tables are quite close and after about 8:00pm it was packed!
