Really great food at Babur on a buzzing Saturday night. Generally the service on the whole was ok, although cocktails arrived along with the starters.

Perfect Service and lovely atmosphere. Food was very good, well presented. my only criticism is that the menu is a bit formulaic. However, this is minor, otherwise the whole evening very pleasant!

Been to Baburs before- really enjoyed it on a Tuesday- my chocolate fondant was cooked perfectly, and service was faster. Still a good, but quieter atmosphere & food excellent. £64 per couple with wine- not a cheap indian but worth it..

Babur was busy and buzzing on Saturday night - but on this occasion not up to the standards I have experienced there previously. A little too much banter from the waiter, trying hard to sell us the 'tasting menu' - I feel you shouldn't have to decline more than once. Most of the food was great - but my chicken starter had to be sent back one part was raw inside. A good evening, but not a great evening - I will go back, but not for a while.

Four of us dined at Babur midweek. Food and service was very good. Unusual Indian menu. Echo factor in the restaurant did make it hard to hear conversation. Will go again for special occasion, too expensive for regular dining

Far from your average Indian, Smaller portion size, delicate touch to the cooking, however the more traditional flavours remain the best.

Babur was very full for a monday evening. They are currently celebrating their 23rd birthday with a tasting menu and money off coupons. The food was beautifully presented and spiced, my friend was shocked by the lack of curries that you find in the majority of Indian restaurants.

The atmosphere was good and the service friendly in the Babur, which was full, even though it was a Monday evening. We had mixed reactions to the food. My teenage daughter and my self enjoyed our meals and the fact that the food is more sophisticated than the average Indian , but my husband found the taste of his duck with honey rather strange, and generally did not find this type of Indian meal, which is presented more like a European meal, appealing.

This one of tyhe finest restaurants for Indian Cuisine. The food is simply remarkable. The owner has put a personal touch to everything, the decor, the cutlery, the msuic and most importantly the food. Every cook is remarkable in his own style of cooking!

Babur is a lovely little restaurant that would be better placed in the centre of London. The food was extremely tasty & beautifully presented. My only gripe is that the starters were small for £5-£7 & you also have to order rice, bread, etc separately for most main courses. This also raised the price, but for £30 a head with alcohol & 2 courses Ive paid more. I would highly recommend Babur on choice (there is a huge menu) & taste of the food & you even get towels to dry your hands in the toilet.
