a well kept secret. Tastiest soba noodles south of the river, using real dashi and fresh ingredients.

Nice food, good price and great location for a quick work lunch!

Aji Japanese Canteen is a great find. The service is friendly and fast, the food is tasty and it's great value for money. Great place to go for a bite before going to the cinema: tasty food without the stress of looking at your watch all the time. Definitely recommended.

Aji Japanese Canteen is good for a quick and cheap meal, the service and food were both great for the money.

Aji continuous to deliver very consistent, tasty food at good prices. Better selection of beer and saki now on the menu!

Aji has expanded the menu and the new arrivals are just as good as the old favorites! On Friday night, quite busy which helped with the atmosphere, but still no need to share a table with strangers. Deserves to be more popular.

Aji maintains quality, value and friendly service. Surprisingly few customers on this occasion but at least one doesn't have to squeeze onto a bench between other wide-elbowed customers like at Wagamama and the Ebi Katsu are streets better!

Aji is a regular source of delicious Japanese food. Extremely consistent and quick service makes a good choice for a quick meal. Not much atmosphere but not crowded like a more famous competitor, so shared tables and unacceptable noise levels are not a problem. Does what it does very well.

All the dishes we had in Aji were overly SALTY. The manager however rectified this without a fuss. The resturant resemabled a Japanese fast-food chain store as advertised...cold, brown and speedy.

It's like a wagamama with a good location, slightly cheaper and much less busy.

Aji serves Japanese style noodle dishes and "sides" such as breaded prawns. Quality is excellent for type and very consistent. Atmosphere is the one disappointment in a completely soulless room and the toilets seem half a mile away but if a delicious quick lunch or meal after work is required, Aji delivers. Frequent "specials" and discounted offers enhance the experience.

Had an excellent time there tonight, the starters were great and the mains, although I've had better elsewhere it was still pretty good and can't fault it. It was good value for money, went with a party of eight and we all were very full by the end of it. It's an excellent no frills type, just your rice and meat type place, which I always like and the bill was also nice on the wallet! One slight criticism, is address, took me a while to find it, County Hall is a big building!

Had a really pleasant meal when we last visited Aji so took a few people along with us. Again we had a nice meal however they seem to get our order mixed up and two of our party did not receive their meals until the rest of us had nearly finished. Also they seemed rather difficult about the drinks we could have with our 'Aji Bundles' although we ordered and had the same when we were last there. May visit again at some point.

Aji dooes a decent job of creating a japanese noodle bar complete with manga on a large screen. We both enjoyed our meal although perhaps the formula system can be a little confusing at first. Will be back.

Aji - Food was ok and the price was reasonable, but atmosphere was lacking (it was Friday night and the restaurant was hardly half-full!) The toilets were also shared with County Hall which was a good 150 metres walk from the restaurant!
