Scarlet Dot is a lovely restaurant in the Spitalfields Market area. I am a vegetarian and there was plenty for me to chose from! I had the dal makhani which just melted in my mouth and the shollay was gorgeous too! Well done Mendhi!

A Scarlett Dot's service has improved no end, but it's still way behind other places in this price range. The food was pretty good, though lacked a lightness of touch you get at say, the Cinnamon Club.

This place could be so much more, but the prices were high, which normally i don't mind but the food did not match the price. It was very quiet when we went in but I can imaginge in being alot better with a full house.... Overall a good average meal, slightly over priced! (£150 for 4 people with 2 drinks each - Pricey for an Indian meal!)

A Scarlet Dot remains my favorite restaurant due to its fine ambience, excellent food and good service. It is one of the places where I go regularily for authentic Indian food. Last night was no different when I was there with some of my friends. The service was good, the food was amazing and my guests were pleased with the overall experience.

Took my Dad to Scarlet Dot for a 'posh' curry on Father's Day. Have eaten here a few times and the food is always superb. But it is pricey. 4 people with just poppadoms to start, mains then coffee was £115. And we didn't even have wine! Just a couple of beers and water. But the setting is nice and relaxed and the portions of food are generous to say the least. Would definitely go back - if someone else foots the bill!

We went to Scarlet Dot on our anniversary and was not greeted by anyone. We told a waitress we have a booking but she didn't bother to ask our name and just sat us down, i guess because it wasn't busy. Nobody came over to ask if we would like any drinks so I went to the bar and ordered drinks myself after waiting for 15 minutes. We then called a waiter to order our food, he wasn't able to recommend anything good from the menu. The service overall was below standard for the price they charge!

Being an Indian myself I am very fussy about eating out at Indian restaurants. However, Scarlet Dot is definitely an Indian I will always go back for. The food, service and ambience is excellent. I would highly recommend Scarlet Dot.

Decent food, but not particularly cheap. Average service. When they wanted us to leave at 10:30 they opened the door and turned up the music, wouldn't go back.

A great place that has managed to crack the code of indian food at lunch time. The bento box is tasty, not too rich, elegantly presented, light and a bargain at only 10 quid!

This is my third visit to Scarlet Dot and again a great place to eat. The food is superb. I had the Thali which is great value for money. The main restaurant is a bit loud at lunchtime and do have to shout to be heard but the service and food help make up for that. I recommend it.

A Scarlet Dot is a modern Indian with attractive decor and a wide-ranging, interesting menu. The Tandoori Prawn and duck curries are particularly good, as is the range of naan breads.

Scarlet Dot in Spitalfields - the food and atmosphere were excellent but the service was extemely poor. The food and atmosphere far outweigh the service though. Overall a nice meal out.

Scarlet Dots is a true Indian restaurant in the heart of Spitalfields. A very popular restaurant so do ensure you book a table. The service was excellent and the food fantastic. Everything was cooked to perfection. A lunchtime Thali special for those who are in a rush for only £10 is fantastic value. Meat, poultry and fish options throughout the a la carte menu to suit all tastes and budgets. Will definitely be going there again.

Scarlet Dot provided great quality food yet again. However the evening was let down by the volume of the music, which made it difficult to have a conversation.

Scarlet continues to be one of the best 'posh' curries in the city. Obviously costs are much higher than restaurants in Brick Lane area but food quality makes up for this. Music can tend to be a touch loud so request tables furthest from bar area.
