Reviews of 140 Park Lane Restaurant and Bar

Second time at this restaurant, opted for 50% off a la carte offer. Had lovely meal, beautifully presented and very tasty, only wish there was more of it! not as value for money as the set menu offers but wider choice of dishes. Drinks are expensive though and not included in offer. But wonderful service and atmosphere. Would recommend for smaller parties or families.

Yesterday evening we ate at the 140 Park Lane Restaurant for the 50% offer at Toptable. Service was great to begin with as we were the only people in the restaurant but as another group arrived 45 mins later they tried to make us leave the restaurant very quickly. I had to walk over to the waitress to get her attention.Food was great although I was a little upset that you had to order a side with the steak as it only came with veg. Would recommend as the menu is good but only with the offer.

Our meal at 140 Park Lane Restaurant and Bar was SUPERB! I would not have minded paying the listed prices for such excellent fare, but with 50% off it was an absolute bargain. And the service was superb. I shall definitely be going back.

140 Park Lane Restaurant is well located with good views out towards Park Lane/Hyde Park. The food was available in buffet style with a very nice variety - the roast beef being particularly nice. The deal made for an excellent value for money choice but the same thing without would have been very dear. The drinks were typically high in price but not out of line for West End restaurants. All in all a good place for a meal and so well recommended

Our visit to 140 Park Lane was made memorable by the excellent staff and service. With the Top Table 50% off, it proved reasonably priced for this location

140 Park Lane restaurant was a good place to meet family, including 5 yr old! The buffet food was good and plentiful, but considering you pay a £5 supplement for the roast dinner, the portion size was too small. Cheeses left a little to be desired too. Wine list could have had one or two cheaper options but we enjoyed our choice and the staff were very friendly and tolerant of a giggling bouncy boy! A very nice afternoon but only worth it with the Toptable deal.

140 Park Lane is a great little place with an open kitchen so you see all the food being prepared before it comes to your table. Good food and good service and a great place all aroung.

140 Park Lane Restaurant and Bar. Had a meal for my birthday with 8 of us. The service was fantastic, perfectly timed and non-intrusive. Food was excellent to. Went with a 50% discount offer and it was automatically discounted off the bill. I.e. I was happy that I didn't have to request for it to be done. Thoroughly recommended

My dining experience at the Marriott was 1st class. We had an early sitting so the restaurant was quiet. The staff were friendly and attentive but not too obtrusive. The food was wonderful and I was so full I could not manage a desert although they had my favourite (apple crumble). I would definetly recommend this as a treat or for a special occassion.

140 Park Lane offers excellent food in a luxurious setting. Our trainee waitress was superb: constantly attentive but un-obtrusive. She even found a replacement carrier bag for my pregnant guest, when her's had broken.

140 Park Lane is a local restaurant for me,and we enjoyed a really delicious meal there last evening. The lamb rack is as good as any I've ever had, and with the Toptable 50% offer is very affordable. The service is friendly and efficient

140 Park Lane Restaurant at the Marriott has always been a family favourite for Sunday Lunch. Sadly standards have slipped. Salad bar had a lot of pasta salads bulking things out, general selection was poor. Come on this is the Marriott in Park Lane and the food should reflect the hotel's quality and location . We didn't have the Roast but instead had the hot dishes on the buffet - very average. We felt very sorry for the ONE member of staff looking after ALL the tables. Hope it improves

We had a really great evening at 140 park lane. The started in the very comfortable bar, with delicious bar snacks, delightful staff, and then taken to our table, again v comfortable armchairs etc. Food - delicious - really fantastic value with top table offer (a bit pricey without - though some reasonably inexpensive dishes) Service: again, charming. Very nice atmosphere, buzzy - but not too noisy. Totally recommend it. (Oh - and toilets were great too!)

The food in this restaurant is always top quality, freshly prepared and tasty. A real treat, that doesn't break the bank. The atmosphere for Sunday Brunch is always warm and friendly and great for the day after a heavy night. What surprises me is, how different the atmosphere can be on different days of the week, from family friendly Sunday to relaxed and romantic on a Friday night, it is great!

The restaurant; 140 Park Lane is a pleasant enough restaurant, however, it still had that 'hotel dining room' feel about it. We found it all a bit pricey as we only had two main courses (nothing from the Grill) and one cheese course to share, a bottle of average rose wine, one glass of white wine and one gin and tonic, we finished with 2 x coffees and 2 glasses of house red and the bill was in excess of £80 and that was with the 50% food discount, so really too expensive for a 'girlie' lunch...

I visited 140 PArk Lane in the Marriott Hotel on a Wednesday evening, early at 6pm, with my daughter visting London. The restaurant only have 8 other people in it but we were sat next to the windows looking onto Park Lane, and by the open kitchen, so plenty of positive distractions. Food was very good, service as you would expect was attentive, and wine list was surprisingly good vale -execpt the usual £4 for water. Spacious so good for talking. Great value with TT 50% off otherwise - maybe not.

140 Park Lane Restaurant and Bar was an excellent experience for one more time. Great wine list, yummi food, nice ambience. I really like it.

Although located in a hotel it's not obvious. The ambiance is good and the staff attentive but not obtrusive. The menu is varied and the wine list sufficient for a business lunch. I have on previous visits sampled the "water" menu. However, in my opinion even for a restaurant it's very expensive. With the Toptable deal it's a bargain!
