Not comfortable

Liked: They have a laundry room. The hotel is also located next to a lot of bus stops. Water pressure in the shower was really good.
Disliked: Everyone complains about the location but that’s beyond their control so I’m not letting it affect my rating. Room wasnt comfortable at all though. It didnt have a heater so it was really chilly inside. Our towels basically never dried in the 4 days we were there. There was also no lamp or any kind of light aside from the bright ceiling lights. Bed was too soft and gave both of us back pain and they only provide 2 thin pillows and a thin duvet. Towels were also really old, thin, falling apart, and had stains. The most annoying part was the leather of the office chair in the room that was peeling off so we had leather sticking to us everywhere - on the bed, on our clothes, bags, etc. Also no hairdryer and the elevator was broken the 2 days we were there. Windows also dont block out the noise that much. One night at 3am we woke up cause someone was playing loud hiphop music outside. We were on the 4th floor but it still felt like they were playing it right outside our window. The hotel could’ve at least provided earplugs. On the last day they let us leave our luggage after check-out but they just left it right outside the reception room where everyone could have access to it so it was kinda useless. Overall wasnt a comfortable stay at all.

Liked: Close enough to the convention center. Very friendly staff!!! Decently clean rooms.
Disliked: Showers had low pressure and heat, some didn't have shampoo. The area is very rough at night, but there's nothing the hotel can change about that.

Really good value accommodation in...

Liked: Basic clean room with in-room toilet and shower. Comfortable bed. Some amenities (towels, soap, shower gel, kettle, etc.) Heating system did not work well but friendly staff provided electric heater. Walking distance to Union Square and other downtown locations. All you need if you just need a room to sleep.
Disliked: Evenings and mornings, lots of drug addicts, dealers and homeless right in front of building and along the street. In the evening, lots of noise from the street (loud music, screaming drug addicts etc.) No police around at all to control and secure the area.
