Liked: I really enjoyed the beauty of the surrounding area.
Disliked: I didn't like that their was no microwave.

Liked: The staff were absolutely fabulous, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We stayed twice, once the night before our cruise, and once the day we returned from our cruise. We had taken a red eye and arrived in the morning exhausted. We were immediately allowed in our room which was so thoughtful. Fabulous location, clean, right on the water.
Disliked: The property showed it's age but was still immaculately clean.

Woudn't stay there again, and...

Liked: My view was a city view. But the train noise was horrible. Very early in the morning (530-6) the train noise would sound and wouldn't stop. Also, the noise from other rooms was immense. Whether it was coughing in another room or another person snoring, the walls are paper thin.
Disliked: Room felt old. Carpeting wasn't clean and the bathroom was a bit sparse. There weren't many supplies in the room (for shower, coffee) and the coffee machine was old.

Nice Views, but could use...

Liked: The location is great. Just outside of downtown but Jack London Square has a lot to do within walking distance. The view of the water was nice. The room was very large. Bonus: they have water filter stations in the room with the ice machine so you can refill your water bottles instead of buying bottled water.
Disliked: The walls of the rooms are paper thin! I am not a light sleeper but I could not sleep bc I could hear everything happening around me. I knew when the person above was peeing bc I could hear the pee hit the water. I could hear every word of the person next to me conversation and he was definitely not speaking very loudly. The building has old plumbing so it’s loud when someone flushes the toilet (even when they are not in your room). Also, everything in the bathroom was oddly low to the floor - I was not in an Accessible room. I’m only 5’4” and I was hunched over using the sink and basically was in a full squat to sit on the toilet.

Liked: The view from the room was great and the location was wonderful. The valet parking was helpful. The restaurant food was good. We enjoyed our stay.
Disliked: Restaurant service was not the best.
