Love the Waldorf. My only complaint is the costly in-room wireless. Meals are expensive, but I expected this. Rooms are spacious and staff is wonderful. The highlight is the Sunday brunch. My favourite New York hotel!

Pros:  Beautiful rooms; excellent staff; spotless,
Cons:  Expensive wireless.

The experience was poor at best. We lucked out and got an extremely friendly associate to check us in. Room service was awful- 30 minutes for pillows when wanting to go to sleep, 40 minutes just for ice. There was no remote when we first arrived- no big deal. Called to have one sent up. A half hour later, it still wasn't there. Called down to cancel order out of courtesy because we wanted to go out. Came back hours later to find a remote had been left on the bed. Called management to voice concern how I purposely called to cancel someone coming up because I didn't want anyone in my room while gone with my valuables all over. Manager was patronizing. Showed no sympathy. Basically a yeah yeah sorry what do you want me to do attitude. No worse feeling than paying hard earned money for nothing but disappointment. Abysmal service across the board. My wedding anniversary could have been spent anywhere. I feel nothing but resentment and regret.

Pros:  Check in was flawless. Kelly was as friendly as they come. Absolutely outstanding
Cons:  Room service atrocious. Staff entered our room without out permission while we were our valuables out NOT OK. Management was patronizing and couldn't care less about our concerns. Took 40 minutes later that night to get ice. Overall terrible experience.

Pros:  The history that goes along with such a prestigious hotel.
Cons:  Received a $185 boot and $115 parking ticket for parking beside hotel. $300 is a lot for a first offense.
