Love the Waldorf. My only complaint is the costly in-room wireless. Meals are expensive, but I expected this. Rooms are spacious and staff is wonderful. The highlight is the Sunday brunch. My favourite New York hotel!

Pros:  Beautiful rooms; excellent staff; spotless,
Cons:  Expensive wireless.

Loved the location. The historic lobby was beautiful.

Pros:  Really comfortable beds!
Cons:  While the staff were friendly and helpful, they weren't that well organized. I would expect more precision from a luxury brand. For example, we were asked if we wanted a paper - I said yes. It wasn't there in the morning. We had to go back and request it.

Nice older hotel with history. Room was renovated. Good location.

Pros:  Nice hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Good size room.
Cons:  5 to 15 minutes wait time at check in depending on time of day. Sometimes there were events in the streets around the hotel and the streets were closed for car traffic.

Some small details make bad impression They should invest some money in renovation, for example some of the buttons in the elevators do not lights, in general it is old concept of buttons. WiFi is not free. Not much TV channels(around 40), the most boring once, Watching a good movie (not the latest) will cost you $5. This is funny, you pay so much for the room and do not have any extras. Even if you just move any bottle in the mini bar, you will have it in the bill, they do not care to count what is inside the mini bar, if the item is not on its original place they count it as gone.

Pros:  Foyer and Reception area has good decorations!
Cons:  Was given Queen bed room, I booked Deluxe room with King bed. The room was small. I have seen much better rooms in hotels with less starts.

The staff was very helpful and friendly as well, although it is a large property so there are crowds most of the time.

Pros:  The hotel was grand and really well maintained. It is in a perfect location, close to 5th Ave, Grand Central and more. I had a great room at an amazing price for this hotel and was pleasantly surprised at how much I got for the money.
