Waikoloa is probably the nicest part of the island of Hawaii-- it's all resorts and fancy expensive shops- no real culture, but definitely a resort-quality experience. We stayed in Kona, Hilo, and here and waikoloa was our favorite spot. It is remote, however, so be prepared to drive miles to find more food and shopping choices than the overpriced fare in the resorts.

Pros:  Very beautiful resort property on a beautiful little stretch of beach. Rooms were extremely nice, staff was friendly and cheerful. Pools were excellent.
Cons:  The $25/day resort fee was rather ridiculous-- hotel rooms don't even have wifi-- only plug in access so I couldn't go online with my iPad.

If we go to this hotel again, it won't be through Priceline. There seemed to be an edge or attitude towards our reservation that indicated we get what's left over. Way too pricey for the value.

Pros:  Good Bed
Cons:  Two rooms, both poor! Not clean and too far from elevator for seniors !
