Quite basic but good for...

Liked: The price was good. Evidently, when I checked in, they no longer had the King room I had booked but gave me a room with two double beds with no extra charge. The bed I used was comfortable, with three pillows. Room was quite large and clean. TV worked well. There was a desk with a desk chair and mirror and an additional soft chair. Breakfast was very basic and the same every day, but I had expected that. Bread and bagels for toasting with cream cheese or margarine and a few choices of jam / jelly, a waffle iron for self-made waffles, two kinds of cereals. Apples. Air conditioning / heating worked well but was noisy so I left it off most of the time I was sleeping and it got a bit chilly (mid-April). Combination bath tub / shower that worked well with plenty of warm water and enough pressure. Adequate shelf space in the bathroom and three drawers and an uncovered hanging rack for clothing. There was a hair dryer, an iron and ironing board in the room.
Disliked: I had a little difficulty understanding the receptionist's English at check-in (strong Indian accent, I think). I put out the "Do not Disturb" sign every day as I didn't really want anyone in the room. For the most part, they obeyed that but, for some reason, came in to clean on the 5th of my 6 days despite the sign. I wouldn't recommend walking in this neighborhood, but it was fine for driving in and out (except the heavily potholed road). It was mostly quiet except a couple times at night I heard distant shouting (not sure if that was from inside or outside the hotel).
