Liked: I liked the price point.
Disliked: I asked the woman at the front desk if our room had a bathtub, as I needed to bathe my daughter. If it didn’t, I wanted to change rooms. She said it did, but when we got there, it didn’t. We were too tired so we kept the same room. Next, the heat of the building was extremely high. Because we could not regulate our room we each had a terrible sleep. We had to keep the sliding door open all night to cool our room down but kept being woken up by freight trains and people yelling and fighting outside our window. The room was mostly clean, but my daughter dropped a toy behind her bed revealing thick dust bunnies and food or a liquid that had spilled and not been cleaned. Finally, the breakfast could have included more variety. I expect at breakfast to see several kinds of fruit, at least one kind of meat (bacon or sausage). Perhaps this was reflected in the price (but the booking website failed to mention this). Had I known this I would have paid more for a room with a bath, a well rounded breakfast and temperature control.

Disliked: It was our second stay on this hotel. The first time we stayed on a room facing the water. This time, we arrived very early and asked if we could be accommodated on that same side, facing the water, since the hotel was empty. For our disappointment the answer was ‘no’.

I would not go back

Liked: I booked because of the indoor pool, when I got there it was drained. I expect and knew about the outdoor one being drained but did not expect the indoor one to also by drained. Had I have known I would not of spent the extra money to have a pool, and would of booked elsewhere. When checking out I ran into others people that where also annoyed that the pool was closed. Indoor pool closure should be mention on booking site, prior to booking.
Disliked: that the indoor pool was closed and there was no mention of it, on booking site. Had I of been aware that it was closed, I would of picked a cheaper place to stay

Best hotel for our Solar...

Liked: Amazing property! Big and very beautifully located! Everything was literally round the corner! And the lake view, plus the beautiful bridge nearby! The Belleville parks and walking trails are also at a stones throw away! We just loved it. The included breakfast was an icing on the cake, and so was the indoor pool!The Solar Eclipse watching phenomenon was a memorable experience in itself and the hotel made sure everyone had a great time 🙂 They even gave one complimentary eclipse watching glass ,thanks 😊 so much!
Disliked: Nothing as such, this was the best budget friendly and value for money hotel we've ever stayed!

Overall it's decent.

Liked: Breakfast - Very Simple - Boiled Egg, Omlet, 2 Kinds of Cereals, Bread, Juice and Coffee. This is it.Bed - Pretty Comfortable Room - Spacious and well keptongoing renovation at the hotel.
Disliked: Breakfast - Surely can be better
