The Travelodge is a get 'em over hotel, low cost great location and about what you would expect. The staff is nice enough but keep you expectations low on amenities.

Pros:  Locate in the heart of Chicago near the parks and Loop.
Cons:  Slowest elevator imaginable.

Pros:  The staff was great! We had a very large group, booked three rooms and so paid in cash, as each person chipped in a certain amount. Very willing to work with us on payments and making sure we all had rooms on the same floor!
Cons:  The elevator took far too long. For the majority of the time, they had a staff member running the service elevator. It appears they are aware of the situation and are working to find other suitable means of getting their guests to their floors.
