Not worth the money and...
Liked: The grounds were beautiful, and the staff was friendly. That's about it.
Disliked: The lock on our door was broken; it wouldn't lock from the outside. We discovered it and alerted staff, but it took two days to correct, and no other rooms were available to move into. Further, the maid told us she would wait at the room for maintenance to correct the problem while we went to an appointment. We returned to find the lock still broken. Not cool.Further, the spa staff was not responsive, and no bookings were available for spa treatments during our stay. For a supposedly 4-star facility, I found this lacking. We could have stayed elsewhere for the money we paid. We were definitely unsatisfied.

Idyllic setting with all you...
Liked: Property amenities. Nice rooms, easy access to lodge and eateries.
Disliked: Service at the bar restaurant was very slow. There were plenty of staff, we couldn't figure out why it took so long for waiters to check-in and to receive food/bill.

This place is everything. Can’t...
Liked: This was my 2nd time staying here. Both times were wonderful. We usually stay in Scottsdale, but there is something special about this place. I love the history, the staff, the spacious rooms and bathrooms, and all the amenities. The grounds are just beautiful. The spa is upscale with a private pool. There are 3 restaurants onsite, room service and a pool bar. We did still go into Scottsdale for brunch and dinner. Didn’t have trouble getting Uber to/from this location. Will definitely come back. I love this resort.
Disliked: Nothing. Can’t wait to go back.

The Wigwam is a wonderful...
Liked: Breakfast was great with a variety of tasty and healthy options. The waitstaff and bartender were all friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful.
Disliked: I would have liked to know more about hiking trail options and the gym. I suspect the gym is near the Spa but it’s not clear if guests have access or if it’s a nice facility. Also, we enjoyed the Tower Pool one day but were disappointed that the water slide wasn’t operational.

It was okay.
Liked: The pool area was nice
Disliked: I didn’t like that I paid extra to be in a larger room only to find the ceiling caved in with water leaking through onto the couch area. We couldn’t sit on the couch at all. When the kids went to sleep on the pullout, it was wet as well so we had to call and have them come and chains change out the mattress and the bedding which was a huge inconvenience.Then to top it off we only got the up-charge for the bigger room knocked off first the inconvenience. I paid good money to have a very nice place. I got a ran down room with a poor experience. I was completely embarrassed that I invited people to this nice hotel just to find a crappy room with a wet bed and couch. I feel there was something more the staff could have done to make the experience better.
