We stayed for 2 nights while we explored the city and went to see Rising Appalachia featuring Arouna Diarra at Rumba Cafe that is only 2 blocks away from the hostel.

Liked: Very nice location, easy to get to by bus, easy to walk to nearby places. The contactless entry process worked very well. Room was clean and the place was not overcrowded at all, actually had a room to myself.
Disliked: Cold at night and not many breakfast options, really just some juice in the fridge. Not a big problem or anything though.

For what I needed, one...

Liked: I didn't explore the kitchen thoroughly. I wasn't hungry in the morning, though if I had been I probably would have been satisfied. Bagels and yogurt. No fruit in the house, though.
Disliked: Weird that there was no staff on the premises. I practically had the whole house to myself.

Low key ideal stay for...

Liked: Breakfast, parking, location.
Disliked: The cleanliness of my room upstairs could have been better. There was a lot of dust and garbage left from other tenants, as well as used bedsheets/towels that were never removed.

Liked: The cost was great and I felt very safe in my room. Ample space to store my belongings.
Disliked: Floor creaked extremely loud, and it was miserably hot at night (couldn’t open window/ change thermostat)

Liked: I love the price! I love the location, nice older neighborhood and the cleanliness and the hospitality of being able to have a little coffee and a little breakfast in the morning. It was so clean! I am 61 and have stayed in hostels before in London and Amsterdam. The only thing that could be improved is having larger lockers. Considering that most hotels start triple the price of hostel and they are not even that clean. (Shudder shudder), this was a great value.
Disliked: Nothing you can about it, but as a 6 foot tall woman getting into the attic dorm was challenging. Halfway up the stairs, my head touched the ceiling. But I had to duck and climb.But it was on the cleanest places I had been into in a long time.
