Love the Waldorf. My only complaint is the costly in-room wireless. Meals are expensive, but I expected this. Rooms are spacious and staff is wonderful. The highlight is the Sunday brunch. My favourite New York hotel!

Liked: Beautiful rooms; excellent staff; spotless,
Disliked: Expensive wireless.

Liked: Excellent everything!
Disliked: There is no vending machine! Would have been nice to be able to get a Coke without walking two blocks in the rain after the gift shop closed.

Fair - 2.5 out of 5

Andrew Tue, 12 January 2016

Liked: The (expensive!) brunch was amazing. The bed was very comfortable, which I guess is what counts.
Disliked: The condition of this hotel has seriously deteriorated, and wasn't particularly up to date in design (think that ugly early 90s tan and gray marble blend). The sink was cracked and had hair in it. Fresh toothpaste smears on the shower curtain, and more.

Liked: Loved the property itself very charming and so much history! Loved the staff we had the best housekeeper who was so very helpful!
Disliked: It did not have a swimming pool and the gym was quite small and not what I expected for this grand hotel!

Jeff Sun, 27 December 2015

Liked: Great location, great staff. great atmosphere
Disliked: Rooms need some maintenance, toilet was constantly flowing and shower head would not stay up, kept falling down and pointing at wall, making showering challenging. I also left a sweater in the room and have not been able to get it back
