Superb

Good basic hotel, nicely updated

Liked: Beds were very comfortable; room very clean and everything worked well. Although the motel was fully booked while we were there, it was very quiet and we heard no noise in our room. Parking was quite convenient. Breakfast was simple (muffins and pastries) but good. Room was nicely updated.
Disliked: Pool was closed while we were there -- which we did not know in advance.

Would definitely recommend this hotel...

Liked: Great location for Warner Bros and Universal. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Facilities clean and room spacious and clean.
Disliked: Hadn’t realised that the pool was being refurbished and closed so therefore were unable to use this.

It is not worth the...

Liked: The location was good with a few eateries nearby and a 10 minute drive to Universal Studios.
Disliked: Not enough parking. No fan in the bathroom. “Breakfast” was a few varieties of pastries. Some had nuts and were mixed in with others that didn’t have nuts. Makes it so someone with a nut allergy has no access to the hotel “breakfast”. The price was very high for what you get.

Good place to stay in...

Liked: The location was very convenient and the staff were fantastic. There were several restaurants in walking distance. The room was very clean.
Disliked: It would have been nice to have a microwave in the room.

Great place to stay for...

Liked: Location is great. Friendly reception. Rooms are large and adequate. Had adjoining rooms which is key for my family of four. Its a great launch point to Hollywood destinations.
Disliked: Was noisy at times at night. Tiny, thin, pillows where uncomfortable.

Disliked: Need more usb ports. I know it’s retro but cmon. Also the tv is ridiculous. I do t need anything big but no channel guide. I spent way too much time trying to find channels
