Great place to stay in...

Liked: Fabulous place to stay in a fantastic location on English Bay just a short walk from the wonderful Stanley Park and a somewhat longer stroll from the water taxi over to Granville Island and beyond.The room we had was very spacious with the luxury of a separate sleeping area for our son. It could, perhaps, be described as a little dated but I prefer to think of it as simply being in keeping with such a beautiful and historic building.The restaurant has an excellent menu - we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner during our stay and can recommend both. One tip would be to book even if you're a guest of the hotel as it is very popular and rightly so.The staff were lovely and the service provided was exemplary with nothing being too much trouble.
Disliked: Our only disappointment is that our stay wasn't longer - we'll certainly be back if we can!

Liked: The location was perfect and they had their own parking garage. It was overall a cool vibe of an older historic hotel and the location was just where we wanted to be.
Disliked: The room/bathroom was pretty small and the walls were very thin. Could hear neighbors talking through much of our stay.
