Liked: For an old building it was in good shape, and very clean.
Disliked: No, not at all. Thought the music in the bar was loud but I had asked for a quiet room and they gave me one.

Good Value Down Town

Liked: Excellent location. Good breakfast. Amazing bed.
Disliked: I left the hanger on my door for the room to be cleaned. It didn't happen.

Disappointing

Disliked: Our room was very dirty, sheets were used. So we changed room, that was dirty too but we just didn’t want to waste our time anymore. I would not stay in this hotel anymore, I have no idea how is it possible that it has 4 stars… the Front Desk lady was very nice tho. there was a party in the restaurant under the hotel so if you want to sleep before midnight, no chance. The hallways were very dirty. The breakfast was poor as well. Not recommend this place at all.

Disliked: The property has declined since we stayed there four years ago. Carpets were not well vacuumed and require cleaning. Furniture and historic features have been reduced.Parking is a problem, we had to park over a block away, concerned about security.

Liked: The heritage stile of the building.
Disliked: My pillows. I had 6 in my bed and only 1 was less lumpy. They were all the same (lack of) firmness

Comfortable but not restful.

Liked: I had booked a queen room that turned out to be overbooked and was upgraded to a king suite. It was really comfortable, had everything I needed including a microwave. The hotel is on the older side but has some upgrades like heaters and the bed. The bed was so comfortable. Not too soft, not too firm.
Disliked: The music and chatter from the pub below and the booming base from a hotel private party made it incredibly difficult to fall asleep. Would not recommend this hotel on weekends if you want to fall asleep before midnight.
