A sad way to end...

Liked: Placement to the beach.
Disliked: I have been there in the past many times, but not since it’s been under new management. The most disappointing part was that the day that I arrived there was a marathon that closed off the street access to the hotel completely. I only found this out from my Uber driver on our way from the airport, the hotel never bothered to let me know. Even though I had reached out via booking.com ahead of time to ask about early arrival. When I called, I tried a few times to get ahold of someone, and no one answered my first 2 attempts. Then on my third call I tried the consierge option on the hotline and I said we were having trouble getting the hotel, I’m disappointed no one told me this was happening and the staff hasn’t been answering the phone. The first thing Victor said all offended to me was” I don’t know why you would say that, I’m staff.” I Clarified and said well I’ve called twice already. How am I supposed to get to the hotel? He said I could get off at the mall and walk over. I said, no, I am very familiar with this location I’ve stayed here many times in the past and I’m not walking close to a mile with 200 lbs of luggage. All in all he was rude and not helpful, and starting my stay off on a bad vibe. Lastly, the hotel isn’t as nice as it once was. Less amenities, less clean. Probably won’t stay here again.

Liked: Outdoors area and restaurant was great.
Disliked: You could hear the outdoor noises even with slide door closed.

We had a fantastic time!...

Liked: Great location and the hotel was clean! We loved the water station located in the lobby and used it to refill our hydro flasks every time we came and went. The yoga instructor was super cool too. We did her class twice.
Disliked: The king size bed was very hard and low to the ground. Sleeping was not comfortable.
