Okay, ask for room in front of hotel

Liked: The staff were friendly and kind. The room was a nice size.
Disliked: The sky train stop was right out the window and kept us awake most the night. People fighting and talking in skytrain platform. Our window had an air conditioner in it so no sound seal and we heard everything. If you stay make sure you ask for a room in front!

Liked: In revitalized historic center of New Westminster, next to Columbia Skytrain station and waterfront promenades. Hotel appeared to be somewhat low-budget renovated.
Disliked: Our room was on the side of the Skytrain station. It was very noisy from Skytrain and people during operating hours (esp. late night and early morning). Hotel even provides earplugs (didn't discover until 2nd night). Bathroom caulkings was moldy/stained.
