The hotel is amazing; the service is attentive as it should be, and the decor is exceptional - attention to every detail. The location is perfect for a special experience. I found it to be very comfortable, and will return.

Liked: It's a nice boutique Hotel in an amazing location in the middle of the village. This was our second time and we were looking forward to be staying there again but the experience was very disappointing and will not be returning again there.
Disliked: When we arrived the room wasn't ready although it was the check in time. They offered us a free breakfast. Then a few days later a cleaner came in the morning to clean and I asked to come in 30 min as we were going out then. We came back at 4 and the room wasn't clean. We called the reception and explained and they advised they would call the cleaning team and call us back. We waited for 30 min and no one called , so we called again to ask for an estimate when the cleaners would come? The reception said that they would call us back and the cleaners would come asap. 30 min more passed no one called so we called again the reception said the cleaners would come asap and they would give us a call. 15 min more passed no one called so we went downstairs to speak to the reception. There were 2 people 2 from the front desk including the manager of the front desk + the employee who handles the suitcases, all three of them were talking in a very condescending way to us . All we wanted to know was the estimated time so we can plan our evening. They refused to provide any solution while all they had to do was find the cleaning team and speak to them in the building. All 3 of them were rude condescending and talked down to us. When I tried to mention the same thing happened at check in they said to me have a good evening you are shouting at me. No one was shouting by the way they just didn't care and didn't want to do anything about the situation. I went upstairs and talked to two of the cleaners who were on our floor who actually offered to clean our room although it wasn't assigned to them . But I didn't want to burden them as they were women who work really hard and so many hours. I asked for new towels and toiletries. I gave them our dirty towels and emptied our bean and went to the room to try to forget about the whole situation. Then they tried to send us a prosecco after we left the room for 10 min to apologize.

Very enjoyable

Liked: Lovely friendly hotel, very pleasant lobby area and great to have live music , nice to have the fire - very welcoming. Good to have drinks and water at reception
Disliked: It would be nice to have tea making in the room

Great location in Village

Liked: Loved the hotel, the location, the front desk staff, restaurant and bar too. We would go to this restaurant even if we weren't staying, it's inviting, beautifully decorated and has a huge skylight in the center. Pics are the view from our window.
Disliked: You can't adjust the temperature in room as the heat only is on currently, so your only option for cool air is shutting all off and opening window. I ended up each day with a sore throat from doing this as I have bad allergies. We also were told we could ask for a fan, so we did, but it was never brought to the room. Rooms are much smaller than we are used to in NYC, but they are beautiful and cozy.
