Great location and at a...

Liked: Perfect location and you cannot beat the price. Nice setting--the grounds of the hotel are very tranquil. Bed was super comfy.
Disliked: Parking was a bit of a pain but not a deal breaker. If you reserve your parking you can park on the forecourt but I believe the charge is $35? We didn't reserve (wasn't sure we'd have a car) and got sent to the municipal parking lot (very clean and brightly lit) a block away and only had to pay $8.

It did the job but...

Liked: The photos made the hotel look alot more inviting than it was. Frankly its just an average Motel in a great location close to pier. Room nothing special . Tiny scruffy bathroom. Really nothing to write home about .
Disliked: Bathroom small and scruffy, noisy and very very ordinary

Liked: The location, walk way to beach , clean , dog friendly big plus
Disliked: Everything was nice

Disliked: room was dirty, bathroom shower was cold, tv kept turning off, bed was hard, could hear everything from outside

Liked: Proximity to beach and pier
Disliked: A Towel upon check in of the room had blood on it. Room smelt of marijuana which is not good when I had a young family

Exceptional

Liked: It’s clean and staffs are nice, convenient to Santa Monica beach
Disliked: Not too much parking lots in the property

Okay stay if you need...

Liked: It was convenient since the hotel was down the street from Santa Monica Beach.
Disliked: Not enough parking and even if there was, everything was so tight. We had to find public parking 2 blocks down from the hotel and it was not fun trying to carry our stuff with an infant. Luckily we had our wagon to help load everything. The hallways upstairs toward the room felt super cramped and the room was tiny.

Would stay here again!

Liked: The staff was very friendly and they provided free coffee and tea. The room was also very beautiful and clean.
Disliked: Parking was very limited so by the time we checked in (around 5:30) there were no more spots so we had to park a few block away at a parking structure. The room was very hot and humid. There was only a window AC in one of the rooms and it didn’t really keep the suite cool enough.
