Exceptional
Liked: Beautiful historic interior. Dining was spendy but the food was delicious. Stores, restaurants, activities, sites all within waking distance.

Liked: Beautiful Lobby and location. Large room, clean, good linens.
Disliked: A lot was closed; the pool, the lounge. The room needs reading lights for the beds and another chair for sitting. A fridge and microwave would be a big improvement and there is plenty of room for that. I loved the pillows and bed but husband felt they were too soft.

Liked: The breakfast was great! We also enjoyed the historic hunt to find things around the hotel. The kids had fun doing this. Great idea!
Disliked: The price was 1000.00 for 2 nights. Room smelled a little musty but was clean and nice. Bed was queen and could have been better. We stay at all the Davenport Hotels and this was the first time to have a bad bed.

This was a bucket list...
Liked: The historical significance and artifacts are interesting, but for the most part this can be seen by just touring the lobby area.Other than that it is a tired old hotel in a pretty rundown part of Spokane.
Disliked: The place just seems tired, Maybe it was better when the Worthy's owned it, but its not worth $350/night now.One of the main problems is the hotel is very noisy. Unfortunately there a a lot of loud vehicles in Spokane and even though this room was on the eighth floor, we might as well been at street level. Throw in a lot of train noise and drunks on the sidewalks and there was a lot of being awakened at night. The hotel cannot help where it is, but if you want a good nights sleep consider other places. Also, we had a reservation at the Palm Court Grill, the main restaurant in the hotel. The primary seating area for the restaurant is in the ornate lobby where you could see and hear the trio playing music and enjoy the fireplace, However, we were seated way off the lobby in a drab corner of the bar area with a nice window view of the homeless activities outside,'

Nice to stay at a...
Liked: Beauty of hotel, staff, restaurant, little coffee area, pool, hot tub, spa (had a massage, excellent).
Disliked: More TV channels, movie rental ($20) too high. Maybe offer some less popular movies for $8.00 which is the average price in hotels.
