If you are in NYC to attend a conference or convention at the Javits Center, it's hard to beat the location of this hotel. It was nice to take a mid-day break back to the hotel, since it was only 1 block away.I've seen other reviews for The Gem - Midtown West indicate issues with the staff and/or bed bugs. I did not have any issues with either. Staff was friendly, not a hint of a problem with bed bugs.I would stay here again.
