Great location; lovely historic hotel, and overall, friendly and hospitable staff.

Liked: Front desk and valet.
Disliked: Dining experience after the show could have been more welcoming.

Disliked: I called ahead I was told me My dog was $50 when I got my two bills for my two stays I was charged $69 each. The front desk (2)became argumentative and said that hotel is a test site for the new rate at that location. Test someone else!

Liked: We enjoyed the room with views f the city, the closeness to Riverwalk in San Antonio as well as Alamo
Disliked: The hotel overcharged us and we have disputed thw charges with Booking.com

Nice hotel in great location.

Liked: Location was wonderful! Loved the history of the hotel and background on Emily Morgan. It was clean and most staff members were very helpful and polite.
Disliked: I went down to buffet one morning with upset stomach and asked if i could just get small bowl of oatmeal. Lady was very accomodating but charged me $6.50.....really.....I would have passed if i had known. Also we cut our evening short on Monday as we had early flight. Went back to room to shower and wash hair and my husband shower and shave so we could be ready for our 5:00 AM Uber. We had NO HOT WATER. Very frustrating. Because of this i cannot recommend your hotel.

Liked: The place was very nice , I felt very comfortable, the staff really made me feel important. Valet was amazing and very respectful. Staff was always helpful always respectful. The place has everything you need to be comfortable, library,gym, pool, restaurant,bar, it’s perfect even for a weekend get away for a local. I did have an encounter with a spirit while I was there 3/22/24-3/24/24 was a bit scary but nothing crazy. I will definitely be going back and getting rooms for my family in the future.
Disliked: Well, I was a housekeeper for a couple years, I know what a clean room looks like, in the room I had… everything looked so clean and perfect, I couldn’t complain, until I looked under the bed
