It's not to me to say customer service is dead. But the lady who checked us in on Saturday afternoon obviously should have another job or be held accountable for her lack of customer service. I've long believed customer service is dead and unfortunately the stay here did not help. Only issue I had was our room on the six floor had very loud partying floor mates. Not in your control. It was clear that my girlfriend and I would not be getting sleep with these party goers - I tried around 7 o'clock to get another room but was properly shut down by this woman - 'no way possible, you will just be put in another area where you'll be next to someone else. I will go talk to them'. That didn't seem like a logical conclusion so we went out, got dinner, came back by 10 and the partygoers were still at it, loud out on the balcony and I called our lady again. After much resistance to change our rooms to any room for that matter and I didn't care if we were going to be next to another person I didn't wanna be next to party goers, she permitted the change. It shouldn't be this difficult to get a customer service experience when we are at the center of the experience but sadly we're all left to feel like we're inconveniencing you all. I know times are tough but am I correct to assume you're supposed to be in a way taking care of us?

Wildly overpriced hotel that needs...

Liked: Location was good. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Disliked: 1. For the price I was charged, EVERYTHING ABOUT THE HOTEL was a monumental disappointment. The location doesn’t make up for it at all. 2. The doorway to the balcony was covered in old crusty dust at the top.3. The bathroom was just not nice at all. It was clean, but it may as well have been a motel 6 bathroom.And keep in mind that this isn’t really a “complaint.” I wouldn’t have said anything if you hadn’t asked.

Disappointing

Liked: Very convenient and close to good restaurants
Disliked: Very very tired. Carpet in our room (204) had holes in spots and absent from area at the entrance to the bathroom. Carpet was very sticky as well on bare feet so we wore socks the entire time

Enjoyable, but overpriced for the...

Liked: Location was great, easy access to all of downtown amenities. Valet staff was excellent helpful fast and accomodating. Beds were comfortable, and linens fresh.
Disliked: Room was very dark. Shower was very low pressure, with most of the water still coming out of the spigot at your feet. Was surprised there was not a fridge in the room. Room seems very dated with older furniture and lighting. Desk phone takes up a lot of bedside table space, but didnt' work! Had to call the front desk from my cell!

Would definitely recommend.

Liked: The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was gracious and accommodating.
Disliked: Would have liked handicap bars in bathtub/sower and next to toilet. I'm 83 YOA and have grab bars in shower and next to my "tall" toilet. The hotel's toilet is standard height and was a struggle for me to sit down and stand up. Other than that everything was great.
