The hotel accommodations and staff were much better than I anticipated. I will definitely stay there again the next time I travel to Tampa.

Want more than you pay...

Liked: Our room with ceiling to floor windows overlooked the river and the riverwalk. We drank wine and watched fireworks seated at our window - amazing!! It was our 49th wedding anniversary and my sister and brother-in-law came over and we had drinks and snacks in the cozy bar/restaurant on the 1st floor. We received excellent service, and the food was fantastic.We are already planning another trip and will be staying at the Barrymore Hotel Tampa.
Disliked: We have no complaints!!

Disliked: I was unaware that this hotel doubled as a college dorm as well. We got woke up at 2:15am by a fire alarm that one of them pulled and sat outside for 45 min. Also the pool closes at dusk.

Superb

Liked: Came to Tampa for a Lightning game and stayed for 1 night. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room and beds were comfortable. Bathroom was updated and shower was hot and had good pressure. Best was the shuttle bus and especially the driver who was engaging and funny. It was pouring rain and he dropped us off at our dinner restaurant and picked us up near the Amalie Arena after the game.
