Poor

Liked: Availability at last minute.
Disliked: Hotel staff sent us across the street to check in... he had to go on break first..Hotel needs serious updating. Carpet, bathroom floors seem very dirty, which was a concern to someone preparing for foot surgery.Overall, did not feel clean.

Good

Liked: Staff when checking in was very friendly. Room was clean but it being so old made it hard to fully feel clean.
Disliked: The bed was not comfortable at all - could feel the springs in my back and the pillows were the flattest I've ever had in a hotel. Draws in the closet can't open because of the closet doors blocking them.

Satisfying Stay in Seattle

Liked: The room I had on the third floor was very spacious with a small kitchenette and a small breakfast table. Although the hotel is very close to a medical centre it was fairly quiet throughout the night. The staff allowed me to stay an extra hour after checkout, a bonus. You have to check in at the hotel on the opposite side of the street and they will store your luggage for you until their check-in time.
Disliked: The Wifi was quite spotty at times. Having double glazed windows would help a lot to cut down the noise from outside.

Diamond in the rough

Liked: Art deco beauty. I love seeing them embrace what makes this hotel so unique and beautiful, I'm excited to see what the renovations will bring. It was very fun learning about the history of this hotel and being able to share that with my friends. This hotel turned from a place to stay to an experience.
Disliked: I wish there was more information on the history of the hotel, I would love to see original photos of the apartments and the rooms.

A good place to stay.

Liked: Good selection of restaurants in the area, not too far from Pike Place Market, and the room was very spacious.
Disliked: Some stations on the television were blurry. View from the windows wasn't too appealing. Due to renovations, check-In had to be done at the hotel across the street.
