Liked: Ice maker broken hot tub broken including the controls clearly ripped out of the wall. Under staffed underpaid staff lasais faire owner waiting too long to fix things in general
Disliked: See above. I I do like the staff and the price. And there could be some rather inexpensive improvements made to the hotel that would make a world of difference.

Liked: Good for the price but the pool no the need to fix it I cut my toe with broken pieces inside the pool

Incentivize good behavior don't just...

Liked: The night check in girl was friendly enough and made me getting in my room past 2:00 a.m. after many miles on the road quick and painless. I could tell she was new. And sure enough, she had made some mistakes on the computer and booked me into a room that shared my first name but different last name so that guy had to be moved. Regardless I went on and booked for the rest of the week. I enjoy the staff here they're always friendly and helpful if you need them to be. The owner should treat them better I've heard about some of the petty stuff he tries to pull.. T mehey're paid under the table and he takes advantage of folks without papers. What I like is the location and the price.
Disliked: The place is understaffed to the point that the woman working reception during the day has to help the one maid out. I found a pack of blue Takis stuck in the back of top drawer in the kitchenette. LOL, only in the valley. But still they should be a little more thorough. I think it all stems from them getting little to no respect and minimum wages from the owner of this place. He's really quite petty from what I hear. He should straighten his act up. Word gets around in a small town like this.

Liked: The room was big and it was close to the beach
Disliked: The breakfast was horrible. First day they were out of several things and the second day there was literally nothing no sure no bread pretty much nothing. The pool was so dirty you couldn't see the bottom of it. I was also told there was $100 deposit and that I would be charged $25 for my dogs what I was not told was it was $25 per day. We didn't even ask him to come clean the room we took care of it ourselves. You and when we had to have towels we went and got them ourselves. They certainly didn't have to clean up after the dogs. One of them only weighs 1 lb and the other one probably five. They didn't mess up anything and you couldn't even tell they were there.
