Went to watch our grandson play football. Game was cancelled due to rain. Our stay would have been perfect if not for mother nature. Would stay there again.

Liked: The room was clean and the service was even better. The breakfast had several things to choose from.
Disliked: It rained the whole time we were there.

Disliked: Our room was non smoking but still had a terrible smell in it. Wasn't very clean and the bathroom wasn't either. There was mold in the cracks of the tub and the toilet handle was broken. Overall just wasn't the greatest hotel. I've paid cheaper prices for a room much nicer than this one.

Best rates we could find and still be a short ride to Beale St. The shuttle was very convenient. Room was clean and reservations were exactly as ordered. Would have no problem staying here again.

Liked: Very friendly and accommodating staff.
Disliked: Only had hand towels in bathroom.

Disliked: Elevators were down and the room had an awful egg like smell when we first got there, I always bring glade or febreeze to every hotel because I expect the rooms to smell and I’m glad I did because it was pretty bad! We sprayed and left the door open for about 45 minutes and the smell was gone so not a terrible issue, just one to be prepared for, didn’t feel the cleanest in the bathroom / shower but after wiping it down it was okay

Liked: Clean room , quiet area
Disliked: There is a major highway construction close by, limited parking and detours entering and leaving the property. The TV service went out on two different days during my stay ( when in doubt, unplug it, and , taadaa, TV works again) front desk stated nothing could be done until the next morning.

Bad

Liked: The maids clearly took pride in their jobs. My room was clean and the bed nicely made. The breakfast was non existent. There were biscuits but no gravy. They ran out of eggs and waffles by 8 a.m. and there was no meat at all. They had 4 tables for the entire hotel, and a sign that said, "Do not leave with food." Like where would you like us to go?
Disliked: The elevator was broken and my room was on the 4th floor. The stairwells were dark, dirty, and smelly. The clerk, while not rude, was not kind either.The location is right in the middle of all the I55 bridge construction.

Disliked: The cockroach in the fridge / the out of order lifts /the broken WiFi / the breakfast coffee machine that didn’t work properly / the broken orange machine / the non shuttle (that still shows on bkg.com) / …. & overall it was like the staff knew everything was rubbish so they just shrugged their shoulders to any complaints. I’m still waiting for my 50% refund

Liked: Egg patties were the only hot items - chewy and tasteless. Waffles were ok. Trash full.
Disliked: Cleanliness - The floor in our room was so dirty it looked like I had been walking around the parking lot without shoes for days. The fridge was also not working.
