Sunset Motel

From the minute, we got there the owners dad who was running the place was very rude to us, condescending and trying to charge twice. Anyways, I guess the son (owner) was out and let his father run the door. Check-in took about 30 mins. My girlfriend and I needed a room because we were in town for a concert and even though we were only in town for the night. We had to change rooms three times, because of their awful conditions. The first room was a single bed, very poor TV, wall sockets that you had to jiggle to work, and an air conditioner that did not work. The second room had dirty carpet and the bed was broken. After calling the front office the staff accused us of breaking the bed. They were very condescending and argumentative. We found a worm on the floor and the bed covers didn't even fit. So on to the third room. Although, this was the best of the three that wasn't saying much at all. First thing, I see, as I walk in is that this classy establishment installs mirrors on the ceiling in apparently select rooms and lucky us third times the charm. I was shocked at how a hotel can get away with such messy conditions. I would not recommend this hotel to a homeless person even if it was free.

We had a nice stay at this motel. It was quiet and the room was clean and great rates.

Best price in the area at the cost of luxury. Stay was adequate. No major complaints. No big compliments.
