SpringHill Suites by Marriott Grand Rapids North, Grand Rapids

Nobody told us when making the reservations that the hotel was under construction. My wife and I are both in our 60's. She has had three knee surgeries and a replacement. I have stage 4 kidney cancer. We were told that our room was on the third floor and that the elevator was inoperable. People should be made aware of problems when making reservations!

Liked: Breakfast was really good. Clean room.
Disliked: Yes, room heater was very loud and gurgled all night! Lack of elevator kept us from using the pool.

Disliked: The lack of electrical outlets near the beds was a bit difficult. I use a CPAP machine, I had to plug it in across the room and run the cord along the bed on the floor. The top plug was loose, could not use that one for phone charging. The lamps had usb plugs, but our chargers are usb-c. Not a game changer? Just not convenient.

Liked: Very much enjoyed our stay. Room was spacious with a nice extra lounging area. Nice to have the sink away from the shower as well as an additional small kitchen area. Nice to have a microwave. Coffee pot in room was nice, But the pods were adequate.

Liked: Location Was Perfect... LOTS of Stores & Restaurants Surrounding The Hotel. Staff Is Super Friendly! Lots Of Space And The Sitting Area In The Rooms Is Very Nice To Have.
Disliked: Needs A Lil' Updating. The Elevator Is Scary & Shaky. The Rooms Are Kinds of Grimey (Microwave, TV, Tub, Lamp Shade)

It was fun, seemed very safe to let kids out and have fun in or around the pool, Great Night!!!

Liked: I loved that it had a pool, pool looked very clean as well, also had a gym but we didnt get to try it out, but what we loved as well, was the breakfast that we had in the morning, very delicious!! Will comeback soon and let friends know about this area.
Disliked: Loved this place very much, the only down part was that there wasnt any smoking lounge as it seemed like, or maybe I didnt search good enough and had to smoke in my car at a nearby parking lot.
