While the room was nice...

Liked: Nothing. Bad overall experience at breakfast .
Disliked: The breakfast was AWFUL! We travel lots and stay in many mid range hotels. Everything on the breakfast buffet tasted artificial and premade. The sausage patty was flavourless. Eggs were like powder. Potatoes tasted stale/freezerburnt. But the worst part was that while we arrive toward the end of the breakfast service, they closed the doors while we were eating. We just wanted to get a coffee refill and when I approached the partially open door to the buffet area, I said to the manager, oh, could I just get a bit more coffee? He said, “ well, only if she hasn’t put it away yet”. When I turned to look at the opening of the door, she promptly slid the door shut in my face. So rude! We simply wanted a bit more coffee. It wasn’t going to hurt her a bit to pop open the door for us while she put away the rest of the breakfast buffet items. She was prioritizing things for herself… not for the guest experience.

Wonderful place to stay.

Liked: Room was awesome. Customer service great. Loved having 2 bathrooms. Great that the hot tub worked when it was snowing. Will tell others to stay at this hotel in other areas. I will be looking to use your brand in other locations.
Disliked: Breakfast was awful. Hash browns were cold. No pancake bar. Muffins were not even defrosted. This was the only disappointing thing there. Ice machine in freezer did not work, but we were given ice from front desk. No log was available to buy for fireplace. we bought our own.

Liked: Breakfast was great but staff were rude working in the kitchen. Hair in eggs wasn’t very appetizing today. Found dried blood on the mattress protector. Couch inside room was so uncomfortable I didn’t even spend time in the living room. Showers, towels and sheets were all clean. Pillows were awful

Disliked: Requested 1st floor, did not get and 2nd floor stairs outside and no elevator. First room toilet did not flush. 2nd room had dirty carpet, couch broken and phone did not work. Receptionist totally uninterested or cordial and gave very limited information. I will not stay here ever again and will not recommend.
