Sleep Inn University Place

Great hotel for the price. Location is convenient to everything. Went to a concert at the Verizon Wireless Ampitheatre and the hotel staff recommended transportation services and numbers. Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were average. Will definitely stay there again the next time I am in Charlotte!

The staff at this hotel could not have been more friendly or accommodating when a medical problem required me to be near the Carolinas Medical Center at UNC Charlotte. Check in was quick and efficient. When I needed to extend my stay they were super fast and helpful. The hotel is located very close to excellent shopping and dining. The price is below most other hotels in this area. Breakfast was abundant and coffee/tea was available for a good part of the day near the lobby. Room was in perfect condition. WiFi and television worked without a hitch. Overall, I was very impressed with the hotel and the staff.

Location was wonderful, we were attending a concert at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater. We called the front desk to ask recommendations for a taxi service- they gave us a shuttle van service that was actually already booked to come to our hotel (it carried 8 at a time). So we paid up front- for round-trip shuttle from hotel, being dropped off and picked up at the entrance was awesome! Rooms were nice, loved having a stand up shower (instead of a bathtub/shower combo). Having a "smoking" floor was a nice amenity also. From the moment of check-in, the front desk staff member was helpful and nice. We would stay at this hotel again, for sure!
