It was my husband's birthday weekend. We went to the concert at Maryhill which was great! Unfortunately when we got to our hotel room, it was outdated, and the bed was awful. We will never stay at another Shilo Inn.

Disliked: Out dated; terrible bed.

We enjoyed our stay here! It was outdated but was clean and offered all the amenities of any other hotel nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Liked: Breakfast in a bag was perfect for our needs as hotel was under construction. Wheelchair accessible room was great! Newly remodeled room was great. The bed was very comfortable!
Disliked: I wish there had been a comfy chair to sit in with a place to elevate my legs ( ie. an ottoman or a reclining chair) as I have legs swelling issues and back pain. I was in ADA room. The bed was a few inches too tall to climb into when I have back pain. I managed, however it was a bit difficult. The bed was super comfortable though. Just some ideas to make it a bit more comfortable.

Disliked: Didn’t decider a discount since I came through very late. And was out next morning. But I understand that not all employees may have ability to do that.

Liked: Location was great
Disliked: Bathroom was a disaster. Needed some major work done. Also construction was awful. I picked up over 50 nails from the various areas I walked through. Most of these were parking spaces too. Staff was not knowledgeable. Also was charged for my 3 nights stay right off the bat plus I was charged extra. I am still waiting to see if the credits go through. I left a day early and the staff did not know how to do the check out. Could not stand to stay another night. Need to put on their site that they are under construction. I had to call the corporate office to get anything done.Corporate office Phone number is 301-592-5000. Please call them with your issues. They want to know.

Disliked: Noise, unfriendly and unaccommodating staff, no notification that the motel was under construction and being woke up at 7am on a Friday morning by workers replacing roof and siding when we were trying to relax. We traveled here a lot when it was Shilo Inn and even though it's not updated, we loved the location and somewhere to eat onsite. I hope this doesn't change once the construction is over.

Liked: On the river the, restaurant was the best part of the entire facility.
Disliked: When I arrived I was unaware of the entire area was under construction. We could not sit on our balcony due to roofing debris across it. There was a beer bottle on the outside table with cigarette butts in it. It was cleared off the next day. Probably will not stay again

Disliked: The front desk was not friendly when we checked in. Their were roofers using a nail gun until 7pm, this was over our room and the restaurant. Our blinds were broken and all the construction workers were able to see into our room and they had trash all ove

Dissatisfied

Disliked: Room service was not available as offered, neither was a menu for the onsite restaurant. Rooferrs were using nail guns nonstop until 7pm. The workers had garbage everywhere outside. Our window blind was broken and all the workers and outside people could see into our room . For almost $100 , I'm not happy.

Liked: The hotel was in the middle of remodeling and construction so some aspects were as could be expected. It's going to be significantly updated soon when finished.
Disliked: Windows could be cleaner. Sack breakfast currently while remodeling going on. In the future the restaurant will be available. The low price took all that into consideration.
